  Introduction

The Mechanical-Management Engineering Educational Program began with its first generation of students in the year 1978, so in 2022 it celebrates its forty-four anniversaries, since then, its graduates have been inserted and performed very successfully in their field of work. and they take great pride in their educational program.

Background:

In 1978, when Engineer Maximino Torres Silva (1972-1984) was the director of the Faculty, at the initiative of Ing. Francisco Javier González Hernández, the Mechanical Management Engineering Career was opened, which together with the Electrical Mechanical Engineer career thus gave rise to the existence of the Mechanical and Electrical Area.

The Mechanical-Management Engineering Educational Program was created at the proposal of Engineer Francisco Javier González Hernández, before the H. University Technical Directive Council, which was the result of an arduous and fruitful work of consultation and analysis, work in which it was strongly supported by the Engineer Verulo Castro López, to determine the feasibility of creating an Engineering career with a focus on mechanics and with a solid area of ??industrial administration.

With the creation of the Mechanical-Management Engineering Program, our Mechanical and Electrical Area was born, with Engineer Francisco Javier González Hernández being the first Head of the Area.

Currently the Program is accredited by international organizations:

CACEI (Council for Engineering Teaching Accreditation), http://cacei.org.mx

Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org

Incorporated into the Register of High Academic Performance Degree Programs-EGEL Mechanical Engineering occupying Level 1 Plus.
